Red Dog
Retreat, owned by G. H. Lee Farms Inc., may be your answer. Our rental
property is located on 120 acres of field and woodland near Houtzdale in
southern Clearfield County. We are 45 minutes from Altoona, DuBois, and
State College, near Rock Run ATV Park, Prince Gallitzin State Park, Warriors
Mark Wingshooting Lodge and Kennels, Pleasant View Pheasants and acres of
great outdoors!
We are now renting our country home to groups or families who would like to
walk in the woods, take their dog for a run without a leash, get in some
great hunting, or just relax in
a private setting. Our accommodations are perfect for weekend getaways and
lodging while attending reunions or weddings. You may want to organize a
scrap book weekend or just take time for rest and relaxation. You may even
see a nice corn fed buck or black bear!!
As avid bird dog lovers, Vizslas, our home is pet friendly. We are far
enough from the highway to allow large dogs freedom to run safely. Our
property is adjoined by two other farms so there are open fields as well as
forest.
